Nicolae Stanciu has been linked with a return to Romanian football, but his own comments leave the next step open. Digi Sport reports interest from U Cluj and FCSB and cites agent Giovanni Becali’s prediction that the midfielder will move to Cluj.

The report places the 33-year-old in the final months of his Dalian Yingbo contract. Speaking at a national-team press conference, Stanciu said his agreement runs until 31 December. He praised the way the Chinese club treats him and said it has first option.

Becali’s assessment is different. In remarks attributed to Fanatik, the agent argued that coming back to Romania would help Stanciu stay in contention for the national team. That remains his opinion, rather than an announced selection decision.

The available report contains a transfer prediction and the player’s position, rather than confirmation of a signed move. Stanciu’s contract situation therefore remains the central point to watch; interest from Romanian clubs should not be read as a completed transfer.
