FCSB will host Rapid on Saturday, 24 October 2026, at 21:00 Romanian local time after LPF revised its SuperLiga programme. The Bucharest derby had initially been scheduled for Monday, 26 October, according to Digi Sport and Gazeta Sporturilor.

The new date appears in the league’s official round-13 announcement. GSP reports that both clubs had objected to playing on Monday. The outlet also reports that broadcasters wanted to avoid putting the derby on the same Sunday as Barcelona’s match against Real Madrid.

Two other SuperLiga fixtures precede the derby on Saturday: Csikszereda against Voluntari at 15:30, followed by Argeș against UTA at 18:00. FCSB–Rapid then occupies the evening slot.

The revised programme also places CFR Cluj’s match against Dinamo on Sunday, 25 October, at 19:00. Sepsi will face Universitatea Craiova on Monday, 26 October, at 20:00, taking the date originally assigned to the Bucharest derby.

Round 13 opens on Friday, 23 October. Botoșani meet Petrolul at 18:00, while Corvinul host U Cluj at 21:00. These dates and times are listed in LPF’s current announcement; the reasons for the derby change are attributed to GSP’s reporting.
